Local Race Coordination

So I know that we have all been busy concerning the general election for the white house as well as both chambers of congress.  And that's great.
But lets not forget that all politics is local.  To truly support a 50 state strategy and push real change across the nation, we need to remeber state politics and elections.
So here's my point.  I found at least 5 states who have a Republican controled state chamber that could be fliped by just one or two seats.  Now that may still not be very doable in most cases, but the obsurd thing is I cant even find out if those states have any close races!  So lets talk about it people.

First Donation

Today I made my first political donation and I couldn't be more excited about the possibility my contribution could tip the scales in even one race.  Normally I don't contribute to the political process monetarily.  I'd rather donate my time and energy.  But I feel like we have so much going for the Democratic Party that with suffiecent funding we could have some real surprise victories come November.  If you've never made a donation before or haven't so far for 2008.  I suggest you consider it, you may never have an opportunity to get so much bang for your buck.

Running to be a Delegate

I want to run for a spot in the Tennessee delegation to the Democratic National Convention.
I'm a young voter and fairly new to the political party and blogging worlds.  I have done a little volunteer work for some campaigns, you know phone banking, canvassing and such.
Anyways, I just wondered if it is realistic for someone like me, fresh out of college, no political connections, and no name recognition, to actually reciece a spot as a delegate.

Tennessee US Senate Seat

SO at this point no real democrate contenders have come forward to challenge Lamar Alexander, and with less than a year left I believe we are left with three options.
